Elsa Talks

Elsa is learning new words every day! Here are a few of the things she says:

  • Up
  • Down
  • Eat
  • Mama
  • Papa
  • Hot
  • Head
  • Hat
  • Bear
  • Baby
  • Happy
  • Happy Baby
  • Book
  • Apple
  • No
  • Out
  • Kitty
  • Dog
  • Ball
  • Juice
  • Hop
  • More (sign)
  • All Done (sign)
  • Bye Bye
  • Bee
  • Duck
  • Boo
  • That
  • Day
  • Stop
  • Go
  • Oooh (meaning, where?)
  • Animal Noises: Moo, Meow, Hoo, Woof, Baa, Buck Buck, Hsss, Bzzzz
That's all I can remember right now. She's recently started accurately pointing out objects in books and repeats words when we say them. I'm always surprised by the words she can repeat right away, and even when she doesn't quite get the right sounds out it's still a lot of fun to see her try and practice new words. We go to out co-op preschool together two hours a week and Elsa's teacher is very expressive and enunciates clearly and Elsa is just mesmerized watching her mouth as she speaks and sings. She just sits (or stands) there, staring at her the entire circle time. I feel like we are both getting a lot more out of reading books together now, and it's great fun!

she sit/stands in amazement thinking, "that's what my mom has been trying to do with me?"

Can't she say 'Bahia' yet? We will work on that soon enough...
